Author syslog facility mods?

I wish to send syslog messages from linux system A to linux system B.
I'd like everything sent to system B to be of facility local.5. This
will allow me to separate them out. How do I change the facility type of
the messages?

Does just entering
local5.* @secondsytem

Tag the syslog entries as local5?

........ Thanks, Curtis

No, that means, that you just send all local5.*-Message on A send to B
(where they will treated as local5).

I think, it isn't possible to alter the syslog facility while sending
to a remote syslog.

But on system B, you can grep for the hostname from system A (syslog
writes the hostname directly after date and time).
