Is there any support for compressed filesystems available for HP-UX?
It has existed for quite some time on AIX and is quite usefull.

I don't know, I haven't used HP-UX since 11.0 _just_ came out. But...
with disk being cheap, and with CPU not, why burn cycles to save space
on cheap disk? My servers are usually CPU-bound rather than out of
space.

What problem does a compressed filesystem provide, and at what overhead?
