I'm trying to create a TAR in UNIX on my DLT 8000. I'm setting the
block factor to 512 bytes (-b 512). Problem is that no matter what
number I put in, the tape always writes at 128 bytes. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Yes. What Unix? Assuming some sort of Solaris, do you have an st.conf
for that flavor of DLT drive? (guess: no.)
