Senior UNIX-Storage Administrator
Specific Description
The UNIX-Storage administrator would have overall responsibility for
designing, installing, configuring, tuning, and managing an enterprise
SAN, storage, and backup infrastructure in a mission critical UNIX
environment.
Qualified individual must be willing to be on-call 24x7, and have at
least 5 years hands-on experience in the following areas:
Required Skills:
· Brocade Silkworm 3900 or 12000 Fabric Switch
· Hitachi Lightning 9900V Series
· StorageTek Powderhorn Tape Silo
· Veritas Filesystem, Volume Manager, NetBackup
· Solaris 7, 8 or 9
· AIX 4 or 5L
· Excellent written and oral communication skill
Labor category: AK
*** OPM Security Clearance Level 6 required ***
Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline with
7 years of professional experience; 5 years of related experience with
Master degree, PhD or JD.
An additional 6 years of appropriate professional experience may be
substituted for a bachelor degree.

This is a technical discussion group, not a free advertising space

Arvind,
The purpose of this newsgroup is to discuss issues related to UNIX
Systems Administration (hence the name comp.unix.admin). If you
really *must* post a job opportunity, something completely off-topic
in this newsgroup, you should at least include location, pay rate,
etc..
