comp.unix.admin is a low-traffic news group, and since the
very posting of the "top 10" lists make it into the top 10
I wonder, if I should discontinue this service.

Opinions?

I like seeing these, it lets me keep from getting too chatty for one
thing, which I'm sure anyone here would agree is a good thing. Also,
it's useful to keep an eye on...er...certain folks who are away right
now, to notice when they come back.

Please continue, in my opinion.

Agreed. Having the top-10 topic make it to the top-10 list on
occasion demonstrates that the signal-to-noise ratio is good.
Having the top-10 topic rarely make it to the top-10 list is a
sign that the signal level is sufficient. To my the current
situation is the goal not a problem.

Yes, that. Careful not to summon it, I believe that it greps. It seems
to follow around another entity, which may also grep.

Well, since we have some voices in favor of continuing
the service, and no one objected, I'll keep on posting
the top 10.

Don't you miss him though? Not even just a *little*?

I find him a useful reminder, of the "There but for the grace of God"
ilk
