| Hi,
I have problems with a server running proftpd 1.2.8 behind a firewall
(1-to-1 NAT). I want to send from different clients (ncftp on linux,
Windows FTP clients etc.) data to the server (~2MB). Sometimes it
works fine, but sometimes connection times out. tcpdump on client
shows nothing except that server stops responding. Distance between
server and client is just a building, cable is ok. I use passive ftp.
Ncftp would switch to active mode after passive times out, but that
doesn´t help.
There were older ProFTPs on the server, with same behaviour.
Any suggestions?
Thank You
Manuel

perhaps there is something wrong with your NAT.
