Is there any way to install 2 version of gnu/gcc via rpm on RH? Need an
olderversion of compiler for some sw but don't want to blow away the
newer one.

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank,

AFAIK, there is no way to install to versions of gcc via rpm. But to
solve your problem you can compile gcc in some other directory.

Get the source of gcc from http://gcc.gnu.org and while configuring
gcc, change the prefix to some other location (default = /usr/local
must work for you as rpm installes in /usr).
Cheers!
