Hello Everyone.

How I can login Unix system Solaris 8. When I forgot my Admin Password.?

boot from cdrom/net, mount /, edit /etc/shadow, remove the third colum
for user root, reboot.

Thankyou very much. The problem is I need Solaris 8 for Sparc that I don't
have. My Unix box is Ultra 1.I have Intel version.

You're the sysadmin, but you don't have a copy of Solaris media? I
smell a rat...what's the whole story here?

Then download and burn a copy of Solaris 9 or Solaris 10. Or buy media
of older versions off of eBay. Then you'll be able to boot from the
installation disk. Until then, you have a doorstop.

To your problem, sounds like you need to get some solaris media.
