Hello,

I am currently running a Java program that calls
Runtime.getRuntime().exec on my Solaris 9 system. This method calls
the unix command execve. Thing is, I do not know how long (in terms of
characters) the command string may be.

How do I find on my system the maximum allowed length for a command?

Similarly, how do I find out how many parameters any one command can
take?
