| I have a 5 computers. Two of them are directly connected to a Belkin
Router. The 3 other computers are connected to a Linksys Router that
is connected to the Belkin router. How do I communicate (specifcally
SFTP) from a computer on the Belkin Router to one of the computers on
the Linksys router?
Some more specific details in case it helps.
Belkin Router IP: 192.168.2.1
Belkin Connected Computer IP: 192.168.2.3
Linksys Router IP: 192.168.2.5
IP computers connected to
Linksys see Linksys router as: 192.168.1.1
Linksys Connnected Computer IP: 192.168.1.100
Trying to connect from 192.168.2.3 to 192.168.1.100.

The Belkin router needs a route for 192.168.1.0/24 via 192.168.2.5.

| My stupid Belkin router doesn't have an advanced routing feature that
allows me to do this. Is there anyway to do it from the host? --Plus,
the computer connected to the Belkin is Windows Xp. (All other
computers are FreeBSD).

Use the "ROUTE" command on the host.

hoped you could help with.
I tried your suggestion of using route on the host but I must be doing
somethign wrong.
I tried (on Windows XP):
route ADD 192.168.1.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 198.168.2.5
and it didnt work. Any suggestions?

First, please don't top-post.
Is the Linksys router also a firewall and NAT? You need to turn off its
firewall and NAT features, so it's just a plain router.
