Hi
I need to setup Sol, HPUX and Win machines as
Syslog receptors from other sources.

What are the configurations i need to do on the Source and destination
side.

I mean If I need to l configure a linux box to send all its syslog
messages to

remote - HPUX
remote - SOL
remote - Win

Then what need to be done on the remote machine side and source side.
Experts Pls let me know.
This Info i need bit urgently.

Read the man pages of the respective OS for: 'man syslog.conf', 'man syslogd'.
I don't believe Windows has a syslogd by default, so I can't help you there...

Most syslogd processes require a command line switch when started to allow
remote syslogging.
