I don't really know what I think about them yet. *shrug* I'm a
charter member, I suppose; but the whole thing seems a bit too wiki-esque
to me. (That is, they're worrying desperate for members so that there can
offer something, *anything*, of interest.)
Then again, I don't know what I've really gotten out of my SAGE
membership either...
*shrug* I don't understand professional organizations that well,
I guess.

I advise folks to join professional societies because professional
societies encourage professionalism. Then I finaly stopped
renewing my IEEE membership. Now I recommend them but
don't belong to one and that's too hypocritical. I was thinking
on SAGE, maybe I'll join LOPSA instead.
