| Hello,
On SCO UNIX 5.05, i have network Printers (TCP/IP),
and the lpstat printername command hang.
Can you help me please.

Hangs, as in never returns? Is the printer powered on, online, and
connected to the network? Are you able to ping the printer's IP
address? I suppose if you had a very large number of print jobs out
there waiting to be printed that could "hang" lpstat. You can check
the /var/spool/lp/requests directory to see if you have a large number
of files in there.
Is this printer configured as an HP Network printer?
