Author filter fontserver messages on syslog.conf

I'm getting FontServer messages in a file I only want messages from an
application I'm working on to go to. This is probably because the
/etc/syslog.conf has

local0.debug <<some path>>/<<some file>>

I get messages like

Jul 19 15:19:14 <<machine>> FontServer[wxyz]: Warning: Cannot
initialize font path element: "blah"

this is following a format defined in a function I'm calling to do
logging.

How can I filter FontServer's messages so that it goes somewhere else?
