Don't hope this question is off-topic, but I am looking for a grep script:
searching for specified text in all programs that are in the map I launch
this grepsearch from _plus_ the directories under this map.

Can someone help me with this one?
Floor

For GNU grep there is
-R, -r, --recursive
Read all files under each directory, recursively; this is equiv-
alent to the -d recurse option.
