I'm pleased to announce that Technical Corrigendum 2 (TC2) to IEEE
Std 1003.1-2001 (POSIX)/The Open Group Base Specifications Issue
6 (which form the core volumes of Version 3 of the Single UNIX
Specification) has been approved by IEEE and The Open Group.
** NEW P1003.1-2001/Cor 2/D6 (C/PA) Standard for Information Technology -
Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) - Technical Corrigendum Number
2
P1003.1-2001/Cor 2 was approved as a new corrigendum to IEEE Std. 1003.1-2001
by the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 9 February 2004. The designation
is IEEE Std. 1003.1-2001/Cor 2-2004.
** On December 18 2003, The Open Group Governing Board approved
Technical Corrigendum 2 of the Austin Group specifications
as The Open Group Base Specifications Issue 6, Technical Corrigendum 2.
This is the second set of corrections to the joint IEEE and The
Open Group standard developed by the Austin Group.

The corrigendum is expected to be published in March 2004.
