There is a database in *nix has a header file called "db.h"
Berkeley DB library (I think it's Sleepycat now) also has a header file with
that name. Is the built-in DB actually the Berkeley DB? And what are the
differences between them?

Thanks

You'd have to look at the "db.h" header that came with your platform (or
the documentation) to see what database was included with it. See if your
"db.h" has a Sleepcat copyright notice in it.
