I have this book Linux Device Drivers by Alessandro Rubini. Do you
recommend it? I have Slackware Linux 9.1 with the 2.4.22 kernel.

Books on Linux internals tend to be outdated even before they reach
the shops.

I use the Rubini book all the time when I'm writing Linux drivers.
