I'd like to develop an application that takes that network traffic of
other programs and redirects it's through SOCKS 4/5 and HTTP proxies.
I'm not sure how I would go about capturing the outgoing data of other
applications and add/modify the network headers. Does anybody have
suggestions/links.

If you are not sure what I meant by the above description take a look at
proxifier.com. My program should do what that does. If anybody knows
similar applications for linux, it'd be great if you replied since I
couldn't find any.
