Varying pitch with KDMKTONE

Hi!

With this:
ioctl(fd, KDMKTONE, (duration << 16) | (freq?(1193180 /freq):0));

I can produce a speaker tone that I can vary in length, but not in
pitch, no matter what I make freq.

Anybody got that to work?
