How to deal with the error of aclocal

This is my first time to use autoconf and automake, and want to get a
configure and Makefile for my program.
I run aclocal, but it exit for an error as follow:
zd@linux:/storage/myftp> aclocal
/usr/share/aclocal/avifile.m4:21: warning: underquoted definition of

Can't locate object method "path" via package "Request" at
/usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/C4che.pm line 69, <GEN1> line 110.
aclocal: autom4te failed with exit status: 1
And I have used aclocal in my system, but there was no error at all,
and I did not know what happened.
Please help me
