Unix Programming - biosconfig configuration file format

I'm hoping someone here can help me figure this out.

I need to transfer settings from one version of bios to another. I
have the CMOS memory maps for both versions of the BIOS, and I found a
tool called biosconfig that appears to do this.

However, there is no documentation on the format of the configuration
file. I've tried to figure it out from the source code, but it uses
YACC and I'm not experienced with that.

Has anyone here ever used this application successfully or know the
file format?
