Dumb question, eh? I haven't worked with AIX in about 10 years - back
then the latest and greatest was MOTIF. Has IBM moved to anything
later and/or greater? KDE, Gnome, et. al?

It looks like Motif is still it:

I suspect that IBM is focusing on Java GUIs instead.
