Hello,

I created a collection of algorithms which is available under

http://seed7.sourceforge.net/algorith/algorith.htm

If somebody is interested in

- Merge sort
- Computing PI with 1000 decimal digits
- Computing the easter date
- The Lempel Ziv Welch (LZW) compression
- Mersenne prime numbers
- The peasant multiplication

and other algorithms, this is the right place.
If you have some algorithms, I would be glad
to add them (when they are GPL / LGPL).

Greetings Thomas Mertes

Please include algorithms for decoding common data formats.
For example, I'd like to know the algorithm for decoding JPG and GIF formats.

By the way, if you can write correct code for these algorithms in
six languages (C, C++, Common Lisp, Java, Perl, PHP), then I can
include (links to) them in my CookBook/Matrix, which is an
extension to my steps-past-CGI-hello-world tutorial/archive.
