Apache is well known for being slow, so that isn't a very surprising
result. The fact that yaws doesn't seem to have been measured against
anything worthwhile doesn't say much good about it either.

C String APIs use too much memory? ustr: length, ref count, size and
read-only/fixed. Ave. 55% overhead over strdup(), for 0-20B strings
