making a boot disk

| I'm running Live Knoppix and have it running on one computer that is
bootable from the CD rom, but my other computer is not. How do I make this
boot floppy disk. I tried mkbootfloppy at the run prompt but I'm not even
sure if thats right?

Usually it is a matter of dd'ing a disk image or two on to floppy,
although I have had a look at Knoppix's documentation and it that
such an image has not been prepared, instead instructions are given
on how to make one yourself. Take a look at
http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Boot_Floppy_HowTo

Thanks - my confusion is because I now realize that I've downloaded Knoppix
5.1 and most of those directions which I was trying to follow late last
night (before I posted) do not work anymore. Example, mkbootfloppy.bat does
not exist anymore.
I think www.Knoppix could use some updating on their own directions.

If their online docs are any bit as "good" as their website I think
I would agree with you. I knew what I was looking but I couldn't
make complete sense out of it. I thought it might have been clearer
with a Knoppix system actually in front of you, but if it isn't I
don't think I could recommend that particular distro.
