Please disregard. I feel like a total ignoramous. First off, I wasn't
executing my driver script as I thought I was (that will teach me to
have so many things named foo). Second, I found my problem at it has to
do with how the automounts and different things work here at HP that's
giving me grief.

Turns out, the file that I'm trying to execute is actually a simbolic
link to the actual script, and this link is in a directory that, due to
autmounts and other factors, is not visible to scripts in the same
manner that it is visible to interactive shells. So, I've got to figure
out some "slight of hand" to make this work.

So, for all who read the post going, "huh?" it wasn't you.
