| I did some googling but couldn't find the answer. Can anyone help me
setting any email reader (prefer outlook 2000/express) to read groups'
email?

That's OT for comp.unix.shell, try a NG for a specific "email reader"
and/or look for a FAQ on your ISPs web site.

Perhaps you are confused by the google interface, which lumps mailing
lists, newsgroups and web forums together. To read a mailing list, you
must subscribe, either by visiting a web page or sending an email to the
list's subscription address. To read newsgroups without Google, you use
an NNTP server; perhaps your ISP has one, or you can use a server such
as news.individual.net or news.gmane.org.
