What the heck are you talking about?

It's everything but the headers.

Hi, Kaz

P'haps on your system payload is everything but the headers.
On /some/ of the systems I work on, the payload consists of black
gunpowder, while on others it consists of gold bullion. Neither of
those are obtainable through a unix system call or command.

How would /you/ obtain everything but the headers on a given machine
using a unix system call?

*What* headers? Mail message headers? TCP/IP packet headers? Chrome
exhaust headers? What?

Are you talking about the actual load on the machine? Do you actually
mean the system call or the shell command? What kind of system do you
want to get this information from?

Cheers,
