sar command for Tru64
|
|
|
| Hello,
I'm searching for a CPU load and memory use measure tool which run on
a 4-processors DEC OSF1 V5.1a, and I would like to put the output of
this tool in a text file.
I have already used the sar command on a SGI ONYX 2 with success, so I
asked for the install of the "Extended System V" kit of the
"Associated Products" CD-ROM.
But the sar command for Tru64 does not correspond to my expectings. It
seems not to be able to give an output per-CPU (-U option equivalent
on SGI).
In the sar(1) reference page, I found the -P option. It's "reports the
activity for processor-id". But when I use it, I rather think that it
is a measure for a "process_id" (pid).
Do I badly use the sar command?
Do you know something that could help me?
Thanks a lot.
