Hello,

I have the following question:

I have an Alphaserver connected to an EVA5000 SAN solution.
I installed the EVA kit for Tru64 and managed to mount some SAN disks on my
system.

Now I want to move my boot volume to the SAN to be able to boot from the san
and have all disks on the SAN.

How can it be done ?

Second question .
I I cleanly reinstall Tru64 can I directly install everything including boot
directly to the SAN ?

Version: Tru64 5.1

Thanks in advance.

We did this with Tru64 5.1 and 5.1b on a GS160 connected to an IBM Shark
SAN. The trick is that your boot volume has to be physically formatted
for bootloading.
