| Hello!
Since a person tried do configure the sendmnail, the services FTP,
PING, TRACEROUTE arenīt working. The system doesnīt recognize the
icmp.
How can I enable this protocol again?
Machine: Digital DS20
OS: TRU64 4.0f

I don't understand the question. Maybe someone trashed /etc/protocols ?
# diff /etc/.proto..protocols /etc/protocols
(this should return nothing on most systems)
You should post the exact error you're seeing to help narrow it down
(but google for it first

??? What did (s)he use, plastic explosives?

I was not aware that you can disable it. Maybe the whole network module
is down? Try "ifconfig -a" and see if the interfaces are UP.
