I'm trying to add a new (well, slightly-used, low mileage), larger
(160 Gb), ATA/IDE disk. I've booted from the cdrom ("linux rescue")
and fdisked it:

start end blocks type system
hdb1 1 16709 134215011 83 Linux

When I run mkfs (after reboot of course), I get "bad blocks count".
Is the disk too much for RHL 7.2??? If so, anything I can do to
create a single big honking partition for all the stuff filling up
"/var" on my current disk? THX.
