Configure X with CT65535 ISA CARD

Dear all,

I'd like to install RH8 on an older machine that has got an ISA Chips &
Technologies 65535 card in it.
I can't seem to get X running on it :-((
It's only got 512KB on the card, could that be the problem ?

Is there any way to try and configure the VGA card after installation except
for redhat-config-xfree86 ?
The problem is X won't start so I'm unable to configure the card.

Hope some of you can help me out
