I have 2 PCs with redhat 8 and I am trying to use the NIS server.
But I have a problem. When I am root on the client PC I can 'su -
NIS-domain-username' and then change to that user.
But if I use a SSH to the client PC I cant login in with the
NIS-domain-username. I
What do i have to change to fix this?
On the client pc i got the following in '/var/log/messages'
Jul 31 12:07:41 clientname sshd(pam_unix)[4251]: authentication failure;
logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=NODEVssh ruser= rhost=the_PC_I_SSH_from
user=username
Thanks,
Tonny
