| I installed Red Hat9 a few months ago.
On the restart after the install I got an error 'segmentation fault in
usr/sbin/kudzu' and as linux would freeze up after about half hours use I thought
kudzu was 'faulty'
I posted a question to linux.redhat.install and they suggested turning it
off which I did. Then I came here complaining that my cd drive did not
work.
Now as this is a dual boot computer with windows, and windows has just started
to give me weird usb problems, I had to start fault finding.
I located the problem to a faulty usb card.
I removed the card and turned kudzu back on and kudzu now works as it
should;)
I noticed that kudzu updates fstab during boot.
It entered the neccessary line for my floppy drive, although I did not
get the welcome to kudzu configure screen, the floppy now
works perfectly;)
My question is can I delete the lines I created for my cd/dvd drives,
reboot and let kudzu configure them?

Yes, if you want to.
