Hi:

I'm using RH 90 and I changed /etc/my.cnf for the my-medium.cnf file, so as
to be able to use larger databases in mysql. I have the server runing at
starup, but with the new .cnf file, when shuting down the machine the
mysqld fails to stop, Trying to stop it manually, via the Servie
Configuration (Sistem Settings => Server Settings => Services), gives me:

"mysqld failed. The error was: Stoping MYSQL: [FAILED]"

My question is, How can I correct this, so as to be able to stop the server,
either manually or when shutting down the machine?

Tx in advance,
