Loopback adapter equivalent

| Hi All,
Let me know how to install loopbackadapter on linux i know on windows
but no idea about linux any help ?

There is no need for an additional install. Just start the network service
an at least the loopback device is up. Run a "/sbin/ifconfig lo" and you
will see it' data.
