| Hello,
I had Redhat 8 installed a spare PC. I have now installed it on a newer PC
and need to get Windoze back on the spare. I used delpart the remove the
partitions on the drive, then used fdisk to set a new partition and
formatted. Now when I reboot, the word GRUB keeps coming up in the top left
corner. Is this something to do with Linux partitions? Ifso how can I get
rid of it?
Thanks

I think you need to do a 'fdisk /mbr' with the one supplied with the winodws.

Grub is the newer Linux boot loader, which has essentially replaced
LILO. YOu need to configure Grub to boot the correct operating
system. the Redhat documentation is pretty good on this
