Hi,
I'm thinking about buying a notepad for running the RH9 and I'm
thinking about te Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D-8830 (1Gb RAM and 80 Gb HD). I
woudl just ask if somebody that has experience with it (running a RH Linux)
has second thoughts and I shoudln't buy it..:D

Thanks in advance,

You might want to try booting the SUSE 9.0 LiveEval CD first (free download
if you can stomach the transfer time). It looks a lot nicer on my HP
laptop than RH9. I guess being a year or so newer, there's more chance of
recent hardware being detected correctly, and unlike RH9, getting ongoing
security patches shouldn't be a problem.
