| I'm going to hope that somebody from Redhat is reading this and can
maybe give a good reason why ACPI support isn't at least shipped as
unsupported? I support Redhat's decisions and as a result I went ahead
and purchased the $25 Education WS product. I was running RH9 before
but was running 2.4.23 built with the RH9 config file. The only change
was turning off APM and including ACPI support. I've heard of problems
with ACPI but it works great on my laptop. I can understand not wanting
to include something not considered release quality yet, but if I can
get my sound driver in the unsupported package, maybe I can get ACPI too?
One more question... what is the "Professional Workstation" that I've
seen in Micro Center? It looks like RHEL WS but postioned at the SOHO
market with only 1 year support. I don't see advertising for it but you
have a web page for it.
