The Lurking Fear

2004-02-02, 2:35 pm

I can't seem to get Sane to recognize my scanner (multi function
printer). It prints fine, but it's like the scanner doesn't even exist.
I have followed the instructions here:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_p...n-Stylus_CX5400
and then here:
http://www.freecolormanagement.com/sane/libusb.html
with no luck.
I'm running RH9.2 on an Intel machine with the following scanner related
packages:
sane-fronends 1.0.9-2
sane-backends 1.0.9-5.1
xsane 0.89-3
xsane-gimp 0.89-3
libusb 0.1.6-3
Anyone have any thoughts

I feel bad for people who don't drink, because when they wake up
in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
