Today, I cried with happiness.

| In my 23rd consecutive hour of awakeness, I decided to install Red Hat 9
on a shitty 500mhz Celeron based machine after not trying Linux for a
good few years. Installation went smoothly, I set up the network adaptor
(3Com 3C905TX - drivers built in to RH9) to have the same subnet mask as
my Windows XP Pro machine running ICS, and set the gateway to
192.168.0.1 (the XP machine). Fired up Mozilla, typed in yahoo.com and
BAM. I couldn't believe my eyes. After hours of fighting with Internet
Connection Sharing with Windows, Linux did it first time.
I think I can safely say I'm hooked on this Linux thing.

STOP PRESS!! "Application 'nautilus' has crashes due to a fatal error
(Segmentation fault)".
Oh well, it's still better than Mafiasoft!

I know how you feel. You should try setting up printing over
network with RH9 - it is a dream come true.
