Thanks for your answers.

This like any other "absolute" question is hard to answer. What does your
company want to do with Redhat, what are your user's using their computers
to do?
Checking emails, surfing the internet and "office suite" stuff are all
things linux "redhat" in this case can do at least as well as windoze
products. Better if you don't want to pay for subscriptions to Exchange
based virus subscriptions and a ton of other software liscenses.
Windoze like most OS's does have it's strongpoints however. if you want
to do video conferencing for instance...it CAN be done on linux..but it's
much easier on windoze (IMHO), just one example but there are others.
You may look at it from this aspect..if you don't know what linux can do
and more importantly do for you...then how will you work on things if
they go awry? Would your company need to hire someone to replace you if
hey went to linux of any type?

If you're stuck with MS office, you're best bet it to stay with
Windows. There are koffice and open office, but you'll hate them if
your used to MS Office. As an example, few of the shortcut keys work
the same, the feature sets are somewhat different, etc. Of course if
they were identical, MS would be suing in short order.
Also, file format compatibility isn't perfect. If you want to
convert, you'll want to convert everyone at once to minimize this
issue. You may have issues with old, existing documents though.
