| Hi,
Can anyone recommend the best package for mpeg/mov/avi playback? I'm
running Fedora core 1, but come from a Windows/Mac background - so a Linux
newbie really. Number of times that I've installed an RPM is currently
zero :o)
Thanks,
Ian

mplayer and xine are the leading players
check fedora.us and rpm.livna.org for the RPMs, you need the codecs too
the installation is most easy if you follow the instruction on how to
set up yum or up2date to online install packages
