| How do I use telnet in Windows 2000 to connect via parallel port to a linux
server running Caldera? I would like to use this in place of the buggy Wyse
terminal to run the FrontClerk program.

Why parallel ? There are solutions that may be easier.

Telnet is natural over a TCP/IP connection. If you don't already have a
network connect between the two systems, both will auto config TCP/IP when
you stick a network card in. Add a cross over cable and the connection is
complete. As a bonus, I think the network hardware is less expensive then a
parallel cable these days and slightly faster.
