Use another CD, if this won't help download this image one more time and
use it.

1. Bad burn????

Did you check the sda1sums for the downloads before you created the CD's

Try burning the third CD again (if the sha1sum is OK) at the slowest
speed the burner supports.

2. Dirty media????

Check (visually) if the CD has a scratch or dirty spot on it.

3. Skip the installation of this package.

Follow the instructions found here (Section 12);

http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/fedor...l-guide-en/fc4/

Modify the installation of the X Windows System and remove the package
from the selected list.

With the greatest respect to the always fine posts and posters, why not
check the CDs you've burned with the CD drive you're about to install
from:

Redhat implies this will not only check the sha1sums but the burn too!

Best luck and wishes. Please tell us how it turns out.
