Hi everyone,
I new to Linux, but not new to computers
my poblem is (VGA), after installing RedHat 9, I reboot and after the
squences of "OKs" then it is like going to GUI mode, the screen goes "BLANK"
my poblem is how can stop the booting and get to command prompt to do
something ?

ok here is what I did:
first Pressing "I" diddn't help me because it skipped the video
configuration thoughout the boot and just lead me to the squences of "OKs"
I know I can go to the text modes and graphical mode from (Ctrl Alt +
F1...+F6) and (Ctrl Alt +F7....+F12) for graphical
the problem when I do that I just get a blank prompt, like there is no
"#" so it is like not the command prompt !!! but i can type there and
nothing happening, i just can press Ctrl Alt Del and reboot the system.
this is only when I go to Ctrl Alt F1

so now my question is : how to stop booting and get to Command Prompt ??
where to find ( xconfigurator OR xfreeconfig OR xf86config Or anything
that I can config my video card) ???

thanks for the help
