Red Hat 7 compared to 8 or 9?

| Hello All...
What's the difference from the Red Hat 7 (which I use) to the
version 8 or 9?
Is the netscape Browser better?
Is it worth getting upgrading from 7 to 8?

Netscape has been removed..... Red Hat Linux 8.0 / 9 now uses Mozilla.
However, if you want you can download/install netscape 7.1 instead, it's
based on Mozilla 1.4

Depends on a large number of factors....... hardware mostly. If you have
kept your version of Red Hat Linux current and your happy with it then I
would suggest staying with your current version. If you have say RHL-7.0
and you want/need to upgrade then go with RHL 9 instead. Yes, all in all
it's worth the time and effort to upgrade, others will differ, but the
final choice is yours.

Just make sure you backup everything of importance and to a clean install
of the new version. If you have not kept your Red Hat Linux 7.X current
with all the updates you will have MAJOR problems if you try and update
instead of a fresh clean install
If your curious about what's new; http://www.redhat.com/software/linux/
One last word of warning Red Hat installs the Bluecurve graphical
interface, which is a common look and feel for both Gnome and KDE. Some
people like it, others don't care and some hate it. You can get a feel for
the *look* by clicking on the links in the URL above.

website for a description between the versions. For me, the kernel is the
most important change. Second would be the network services and lastly the
desktop support.
