Hi,

I currently have redhat 8 installed. I just got the redhat 9.0.

I am debating on whether or not to do an upgrade from 8.0 to 9,0.

On windows I have never found that an upgrade from 95 to 98 or 98 to xp
worked all that well. And found that clean installs are better.

Has linux got thier shxt together regarding upgrades?

Just wondering if it is worth upgrading or reinstalling?

The one thing I am hoping to get is better sound card suport.

thanks

I did the exact same task and had no problems at all. It worked
beautifully. I think the RedHat people have a very well thought out
product.
